Gabo H Beaumont recently complained about recent documents buried down the search results list. This is intended since current ordering goes as follows:
First contacts (in case they are included in search query) then titles then documents and comments mixed ordered by best match

Maybe we can have a best match threshold (because the engine gives us a numerical rank ) above which we order strictly by date since all of the matches are considered accurate enough. Below that threshold we could take the most recent up to a month/week and order them by rank and then everything else.
This way we could have relevant recent results first.
