    Product Background

    1

Seed is a tool for writing, publishing, and connecting content on the web where you own and control what you create.

It’s designed for collaboration, allowing people to link ideas and build shared knowledge without relying on a central platform.

    Testing Introduction

We’re working to improve Seed's usability, making it more intuitive and easier to use.

In this test, you’ll follow a few steps and then share your feedback on a written document.

    Steps

Go to https://seed.hyper.media/ and download the Seed app

Install the app and complete the required setup

Once inside, find the “New site” button in the left sidebar

Create a new site and start adding content

Create a new document and play around with the options you have

    Questions & Feedback

What were your first impressions when creating a new document?

Was it easy to get started?

Did anything feel confusing while creating or editing content?

Is there another way you would expect to create, edit, or publish content?

      Any additional comments?

    Horacio's Feedback

    2

what is the goal for this test?

Is it to test if a Notion-like or Framer-like experience of editing right away works for us or not?

Is it to test if we need a "edit mode" or not?

For the test, I believe the user should understand:

        how to create a document

        How to publish it

How to edit: just start editing as in Notion

That drafts are autosave: maybe the current indicator is too small?

When they are allowed to edit and when they should not

The user should know when there are changes to be published that are not.
