Hi welcome to my new post! 👋 Today we will dive into the history of chess and were did chess come from. So let's start with little story: Long ago in ancient India a king was sad because he gad lost his son on one of his battles even thigh the kingdom won he didn't even smile. But one day a wise man (sometimes named Sissa ibn Dahir) invented the game of chess and presented it to the king, Raja Shiharam. The king was so impressed by the game's brilliance—how it taught strategy, foresight, and the balance of power—that he offered the inventor any reward he wished. The wise man made a seemingly modest request: The king laughed, thinking the man had asked for a small prize. “Granted!” he declared. But as his servants began calculating the total amount of rice, they quickly realized the scale of the request.
