Could an author publish a document to a group and not to its own account?

When I indent an Image under a numbered bullet point, the image becomes a numbered item, and I can't remove it. The image should not become a numbered item in the first place.
Oh! Turn into Group Item fixes the thing, but IMO is not intuitive at all!
In a draft, numbered and bullet lists are misaligned by the parent.
Should we move the mint line to the right, as the annotations line?
