RPC: Goodbye
Ends every account binding and watch on the connection without closing it.
Fetching schema…

Part of Stem. This page defines the Goodbye method of the sync RPC specification. Closing the connection has the same effect; this lets a peer drop identity while keeping the transport.

The formal schema is attached as the schemaDefinition of this page: a struct {key, input, output} with key pinned to Goodbye.

Ends the authenticated bindings and watches on this connection. Closing the connection has the same effect.

Input

No fields.

Output

No fields.

Rules

    After Goodbye the connection is evaluated as everyone until the next Authenticate.

    Open watches on the connection end.

    The method is idempotent.

Today (HM24)

HM24 has no equivalent; bindings end only when the libp2p connection closes.

Example

{"key": "Goodbye", "input": {}}
{}
