Consider that the design of global electronic communications is tantamount to a world wide nervous system & its essential structure contextually formative to its future functioning, as the initial conditions to the big bang instrumental to subsequent possibilities.

'A global layer of thought', from the Greek noos for ‘mind’, the Noosphere emerges from the biosphere, here, amongst the atmosphere, hydrosphere & geo/lithosphere…

Humanity can tell a better story - which is what would inevitably emerge from just a slightly better medium for thinking and communication. In fact it's already here (though perhaps in dire need of a rewrite).
