Did something change in how we display comments in the comments tab? I now often need to click on "Reply (N)" button to see some of the replies.

I remember at one point we were doing Twitter-like "Show replies" button when we had concurrent replies, but then I remember the time when this wasn't happening. And if anything, the UI was different. Now it's unclear whether the Reply button just shows wrong count of replies, or there're really replies there. Also not clear why do I need to press Reply button to see replies, even if my intention is not to reply there.

Here on my comment I see 2 replies but they don't show up until I press Reply.

I think at one point this was not working like this, so I'm not sure if this is the intended behavior.
