Idea to show the Directory in a full page. Imo if we have this we don't need the left hierarchical document navigator. However, we can have both. They are not incompatible!

Any document can be open in the site's directory.
The Site's directory you see all documents with hierarchy. Having the full page space gives a better UX to see more information as number of citations, comments, authors.
It is easier to move or delete documents than the small side left panel ala Notion. Also helps a better navigation to understand the document structure.

I vibe coded a version of this feature so y'all can see how it can be. This is a mockup and is not part of the main code yet. if we believe that this is the way it can be done, then we can continue and define better more specifics about it

it shows all the documents for the site, in a tree, so it respects the hierarchy
you can filter documents by name, change sorting, move, rename, delete and even do all this actions in bulk (by selecting multiple documents
we can consider add pagination if we believe is too heavy for the backend.
